Norway – Environmental impact assessment other than for construction – Analysis of the environmental footprint from the Norwegian digital infrastructure

Establish a knowledge-based common reference and benchmark of the environmental footprint from the Norwegian digital infrastructure, both for the current status and for future scenarios. For Nkom the analysis will especially serve as a basis for identifying and prioritising sustainability measures and activities, for detecting policymakers, and as a point of reference for legal assessments and decisions. It may also be used as benchmark in incentive/discount models in frequency auctions, innovation projects etc.
