Fixed wing is defined as an unmanned aerial aircraft which is capable of flight using wings that generate lift caused by the aircrafts forward airspeed and the shape of the wings. The wings of a fixed wing aircraft are not necessarily rigid. The structural part of fixed wing aircrafts is called the airframe and usually includes a fuselage, wing or wings configuration, and both vertical and horizontal stabilizer. Some have landing gear. • Kites • Hang gliders • Variable-sweep wing aircrafts • Airplanes that uses wing morphing • Powered fixed wing aircrafts (airplanes).
