Ireland – Urban planning services – Galway City Council is inviting tenders from multi-disciplinary consultancy services, to undertake the preparation of a Salthill Village and Seafront Framework Plan

Galway City Council is seeking the appointment of an experienced multi-disciplinary team to prepare a Salthill Village and Seafront Framework Plan. The Framework Plan will be a long term, non statutory plan. It will be a visionary document which will reflect an 18 month process of engagement and collaboration. The study area includes the village, leisureland, adjacent parks and the seafront from Grattan Beach to Blackrock Diving Tower (see appendix 1) The purpose is to: 1. Establish a shared vision for Salthill Village and Seafront in collaboration with all stakeholders. 2.Guide the enhancement, management, use and development of Salthill and the Seafront. 3. Give a conceptual perspective of the potential for Salthill Village and Seafront. 4. Enable an integrated approach to the future development and management of Salthill and the Seafront.
