Ukraine – Railway and tramway passenger coaches, and trolleybuses – Overhaul of the trams (two seсtions, TATRA KT4-SU) including modernization (reconstruction) to ensure carriage of passengers with reduced mobility up to a total budget of 3 (three) million euros, VAT taxes and customs duties excluded

KT4-SU passenger-type tram cars manufactured by ČKD «TATRA» (Czechoslovakia) and in operation in Lviv shall be reconstructed during the overhaul to become a new tram car model type KT4-SU-KVP-Lv with an additional middle low-floor section and transistor-pulse control system of traction motors. The tram shall consist of three sections. Front and rear sections with a partially low-floor level rely on the overhauled and reconstructed by the Service Provider existing bogies of the KT4-SU trams. The middle section of the tram shall be fully low-floor with an additional trailer bogie if necessary. The tram shall be operated on a 1,000 mm track gauge of the existing City tram network. The tram shall run in normal mode with 100% power supply at 400V - 720V DC from the city catenary, in accordance with the national standard DSTU EN 50163, with supply from the catenary, and in emergency autonomous mode (interruption of power supply from the city network) using on-board battery for not less than 200m in load EL 4. The tram shall have the following dimensions: overall length (without couplings) – at least 24,000 mm; overall width – no more than 2,200 mm; height from top of rail (except the current collector) – no more than 3,700 mm. The number of seats shall be as many as possible for the specified overall dimensions of the tram and their dimensions and location in accordance with the requirements of DSTU 4070. The maximum passenger capacity of a tram wagon shall be such that there is no excess of permissible rail load from any axle.
