Norway – Warehouse management system – Contract award: Expansion of the AGV system to Akershus Universitetssykehus HF

Akershus University Hospital (Ahus) shall construct a new building in the hospital area. This building will be the new psychiatric building and will be supplied with goods from the existing Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGV) system. In order to ensure this, the AGV portfolio must be expanded. The current AGV system is from 2008. The actual AGVs are of the type 'Caesar' and shall be integrated into the existing fleet. The new lifts and fire doors at Ahus are also integrated with the MLR System GMBH. Ahus therefore intends to enter into a contract with the current supplier, MLR System GMBH, for supplementary procurements of 24 AGVs and 4 convoier bands with a value of NOK 37.3 million excluding VAT.
