Myanmar/Burma – Public relations services – Strategic Communication and Public Diplomacy of the European Union Delegation to Myanmar

This procurement aims at contracting a service provider specialised in communication to support the European Union (EU) Delegation to Myanmar's efforts to increase engagement with key audiences in a meaningful and conflict-sensitive way, in order to demonstrate the EU’s support to the people of Myanmar and promote EU values. Taking into consideration the volatile political context, the EU Delegation’s communication efforts will have to be innovative and flexible while staying pragmatic at a time when sensitivities are exacerbated, positions are polarised, and the international community’s engagement is under scrutiny. By consolidating strategic communication and public diplomacy resources under this contract, the EU Delegation will be able to plan and execute strategic communication and public diplomacy actions with the scale and focus necessary to be effective on a national scale. This will ensure more impactful communication on the EU’s international partnerships objectives and external policy priorities, as well as support EU’s efforts to build long-term partnerships and develop further networks inside and outside Myanmar. The action will therefore contribute to raising awareness, understanding and perception of the EU and its role in the country.
