Switzerland – Other community, social and personal services – Invitation to Tender for Migration NGOs as Implementing Partner of the Strengthened and Informative Migration Systems (SIMS) Project (phase 2) in Bangladesh

The aim of the Invitation to Tender is to identify National / Sub-National Partner Organisations who have the competences and experience to implement the 2nd phase of the project “Strengthened and Informative Migration Systems (SIMS)” funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The main thematic areas of the project are access to information on safer migration, access to justice, more sustainable remittances management (RM) incl. access to financial literacy and business development (RM is for year 1 only). HELVETAS Bangladesh has been implementing SIMS project in the 1st phase in Cumilla, Narsingdi and Chattogram, and has worked with 4 local implementation partners. This collaboration will continue in the 2nd phase of SIMS. With this tender, HELVETAS is inviting applications for the implementation of the project in two new districts: Chandpur District and Cox’s Bazar District. HELVETAS expects to contract one organisation per new district (two in total).
