Luxembourg – Statistical services – Statistical services in relation to real estate price statistics: Methodological Manual on Housing Price Statistics

The outcome of the contracts to be signed under the present CfT consists in providing a draft of the Methodological Manual on Housing Price Statistics, covering housing price statistics. It should focus on all housing price statistics produced by ESTAT, provide practical information to users and compilers on how to find, use and compile the house price index, owner-occupied housing price index and other RE indicators. A manual in this field is of paramount importance to help maintaining, improving the quality of produced RES whose outputs satisfy very high policy needs at the European level and that are used by the EC DGs, the ECB other members of the ESCB and many other users.
