Netherlands – Battle simulators – Delivery Modernisation TACTIS

The TASTIS system is a state-of-the-art educational learning tool. It consists of a network of linked simulators. These linked simulators can together generate a complete virtual world. In this artificial environment, the students are confronted with, among other things, a realistically acting opponent, realistically acting side units and neutral elements such as individuals, groups of people, means of transport and animals. By means of a network link, combat actions can be carried out at the level of platoon, company and/or battalion. The modernisation of the TACTIS system consist of serval steps to come to a new system which will extend the End of Life of the system to at least 2036.
