Türkiye – Environmental services – Improving marine monitoring and reporting practices in compliance to Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD, 2008/56/EC)

To increase the institutional capacity of the competent authorities for effective implementation of the national marine monitoring programme in line with MSFD and RSCs in Türkiye. Technical Assistance will be given to develop technical capacity on ecosystem approach-based reporting of marine monitoring programs and on data management and assessment of online marine monitoring. Comprehensive guidelines on data aggregation and assessment methodologies for online marine monitoring, and guidebook on ecosystem-based approach reporting of marine monitoring data will be prepared.
