Full Description
This is a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice. This notice acknowledges that the Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital Dublin proposes to contract with PFH for the provision of support and software migration services. The current solution has been developed over the past three decades and delivers a cross-site integrated solution for the following services:PAS The software has interfaces to other Hospital systems including: - Medisight for Ophthalmology patients, Integra for Patient accounts, other hospital systems. The current Patient Administration System (CAPAS) is completely bespoke and was end of life 10 years ago. It is a major patient safety and increasingly higher cyber-security risk for the hospital. It is now at the highest level on the corporate risk register. Several years ago the HSE agreed to provide a new patient administration system (iPMS) for the hospital. The RVEEH has been on a wait list for that system since 2017 and it is now both critical and urgent. To support this immediate transfer we require the professional services of an existing partnership that dates back 15 years. Since 2009, The Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital Dublin has developed internal processes with the assistance and support of PFH to maintain and progress the current bespoke patient administration system.
