Full Description
The Law on Compensation from the State to the Victims of Violence (the Violence Compensation Act) came into force on January 1, 2023. The Norwegian Parliament decided in the request decision no. 723 6 June 2024 that the new law shall be evaluated. The objective of the evaluation is to contribute with research based knowledge on the effects of new law. The evaluation shall ensure more knowledge on how the law is practised and how the law functions at system level. The evaluation shall be generally discussed by the evaluation: Whether the law has so far given the deliberate consequences that the legislature has wanted - Whether the law has had unintended consequences - Any need for adjustments to the regulations or other measures in order to achieve the purposes in new law. The assignment shall initially be completed by 1 June 2026. The estimated value of the procurement is NOK 2,000,000 excluding VAT. The estimated value is not binding for the contracting authority. See annex 1 of the contract for further details on the delivery.
