Dublin City Council gives notice to invoke Article 32(2)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU which state that the negotiated procedure without prior publication may be used where the works, supplies or services can only be supplied by a particular economic operator for (iii) the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights. Dublin City Council intends to award a contract to Business Post Online for a period of three years at an estimated value of €30,600 ex VAT. Business Post is Ireland’s only dedicated business publication offering 24/7 insights on property, technology, politics, economics, SMEs, arts and culture. They offer a business angle on breaking news both at home in Ireland, and abroad, as well as deep dive analysis on the pressing matters impacting business in Ireland. Access to the Business Post includes access to their dedicated weekly publications including Connected (technology and innovation publication), Property (updates on real estate and property news in Ireland), Food & Wine and Irish Tatler (fashion, culture and travel). They also offer curated news in topical areas such as ESG, technology, a cultural briefing, Global Economic Summit content, and an International Briefing from their journalists in Brussels, London and the United States. Access to the Business Post digital subscription also allows access to the e-reader of their printed publication, with an archive of content going back digitally to 2016 and on request, back to 2003. The legacy of the Business Post is strong in how they have supported the business community of Ireland thrive and inform their decision making for the future.
