Ireland – Railway construction works – Glounthuane to Midleton Twin Track Construction

The scope of the Glounthaune to Midleton Twin Track project is summarised below: • Twin tracking of the single-track sections between Glounthaune and Midleton (approximately 70% of the 10km route) • Reconfiguration of the operational track layouts, as required. • Provision of sidings/turn back facility at Midleton. • Provision of new cable containment routes from Glounthaune to Midleton • Facilitation of signalling upgrades and alterations.
