Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency notice concerns a contract for the provision of a range of evaluation, survey, inspection, BER Assessment, audit and related quality assurance and technical services to deliver SEAI Schemes (the “Contract”). The Contract was awarded by SEAI in June 2019. SEAI began working on the replacement tender for above mentioned Contract in July 2023. The outcome of the tender process was challenged, with legal proceedings commencing on 9 July 2024. Therefore, as of 1 August 2025, as the proceedings remain ongoing, it has not been possible to conclude the replacement contract prior to the expiry of the current Contract. Accordingly, an additional 7­month extension from 1 August 2025 – 28 February 2026 to the term of the contract is necessary to ensure continuity of services during the legal proceedings.
