The recruitment of Graduates by local authorities is an entry level recruitment process which allows for individual local authorities to get access to Graduates in one of the ten skills areas in which the sector has identified a skills shortage. It is for individual local authorities to unlock the potential of the graduates who take up employment with them and to maximise the use of their skills over the duration of the contract.
