The aim of the procurement is to establish a framework agreement that ensures the delivery of goods by railway. The scope includes locomotives for pulling the Norwegian Armed Forces' own railway cars. The framework agreement shall take care of the Norwegian Defence ́s need for the transport of heavy material in Norway and europe on the national and European railway network. The agreement will also be used for use in connection with information about defence material and other goods. Allied nations will use the agreement through the Norwegian Armed Forces as the contracting authority and contract counterparty for the railway transporter. The agreement shall apply for peace, crisis and war.
