Full Description
The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) has carried out extensive geophysical measurements by helicopter, and during this period have carried out more than 4,000 flying hours in total. This the work is a part of the government's commitment to mapping mineral resources, general rock mapping and natural radio activity in the ground. The contracting authority requests tenders for the hire of helicopters in order to conduct geophysical surveys in Norway. The number of helicopter requirements is estimated to be approx. 1,500 flying hours over a 4 year period. Estimate is not binding for the contracting authority. The value of the contract in the last 4 years, has been approx. NOK excluding VAT. Periodically the tenderer will need to provide up to 2 helicopters, to ensure that the contracting authority can expand production at any given time. In the event of technical interruptions etc., the Contracting Authority is expected to replaces the helicopter of an equivalent type and specifications.
