Ireland – Engineering services – R178 Cavan to Dundalk Strategic Regional Route Consulting Services

The Cavan to Dundalk Bay Strategic Regional Route when completed will provide a safer strategic connection to both major towns. This project contains 2 no. locations on this route (R178) of which both are located within County Louth. The aim of this brief is to develop the Preliminary Business Case/Approval in Principal Stage for this element of the project. The overall objective of this scheme is to maximise and deliver the use of the existing road infrastructure at 2 no. locations on the R178 with the improvement works providing a consistent and safe road layout.
