FMI har behov for at indgå en anskaffelseskontrakt til understøttelse af opbygningen af luftværn til Brigaden i form af et antal Very Short Air Defence (VSHORAD) 3D-radar- og sensorsystem samt containerplatform. Der er konkret tale om indkøb af krigsmateriel til opfyldelse af NATO styrkemål til Danmark. FMI har indgået aftalen med Weibel Scientific A/S.
