Netherlands – Command, control, communication systems – Wired field telephony
🇳🇱Ministerie van Defensie·Netherlands
Full Description
The NLMOD requires an estimated 6000 new Wired field telephones and all necessary accessories to create Wired Telephony networks, designed to make a reliable telephone connection from for instance command posts, to guard posts or observation posts or to a battalion in the field as well as to other communication systems and vehicles. The Contract involves the delivery and maintenance of new Wired (type WD-1/TT) field telephones including associated Wired field telephony systems and all accessories necessary to create Wired Telephony networks. By connecting the Field telephones to a field cable, a network of telephones is created. This simple wired network makes it possible to send both voice messages and, preferably, also limited data (IP) messages. The Wired field telephony system (typically there are 40 Field telephones per Wired field telephony system) and the field telephones - the end devices - must be easy to use, and provide basic as well as additional functionality like the ability to transmit analogue voice - and, optionally, data - and the ability to be connected to other systems via interfaces. The field telephones and/or field telephone system should be modular in build-up, to enable use by all NLMOD operational commands. The Agreement will be divided in two (2) parts: Delivery Agreement via Framework agreement, concluded for a period of 60 months, with the option to extend the agreement twice by 12 months; Maintenance agreement, concluded for a period of 13 years, with the option to extend the agreement three times by 24 months.
