Norway – Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excl. glasses) – Intention notice: Consumables for analysing metotrexate in serum and tramadol in urine to MBF at Helse Bergen HF

Helse Bergen HF currently has a contract with Specialty Diagnostix for the procurement of consumables for analysing metotrexate in serum. These consumables are used in the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Pharmacology at Haukeland University Hospital. The current contract expires 04.10.2025, and Helse Bergen needs a new contract that will come into force when the current agreement expires. The company also has a need for consumables for analysing tramadol in urine. The consumables must be compatible with the existing equipment in the department. Indiko Plus is used for analysing tramadol from Thermo Fisher and cobas (702) is used for analysing metotrexate from Roche. Necessary consumables that are compatible with the existing equipment can only be procured by Specialty Diagnostix GmbH, on the basis that this competition cannot be arranged, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 13-4 letters b (2 and 3). An agreement is planned to be signed 10 days at the earliest after publication of an intention notice. The contract will start at the earliest in week 29 due to staff holidays.
