Norway – Mechanical shovels – Procurement of a new wheeled excavator in Nore og Uvdal municipality.

Background Nore and Uvdal municipalities need to procure a new wheeled excavator for operation and maintenance work along municipal roads and sites. The background for the procurement is that the current machine is of an older type and shall be phased out. It is important that the municipality has a reliable machine, both as per capacity and stand-by. The wheeled excavator will be used for various assignments connected to standard road works and other municipal operational assignments. The municipality needs a system that can be included in ordinary operation without unnecessary operational stoppages and that is suitable for efficient execution of the assignments throughout the entire year. Description of the assignment The assignment is for the delivery of one (1) new or used wheeled excavator with a short hedge, dimensioned for standard road works and various work assignments within municipal engineering operations. The delivery shall include a machine with the necessary equipment to be put into operation by taking over. Proposals for a service agreement/guarantee shall be submitted together with the tender. As a part of the delivery, the wheeled excavator is requested with a tiltrotator and a quick connect system suitable for the municipality ́s existing tool park, as well as facilitation for the use of relevant hydraulic tools. Furthermore, the delivery shall include equipment that supports safe and efficient operation, including systems for lubrication, lighting and visibility/monitoring.
