Netherlands – Battle simulators – Next generation Advanced Stinger Trainer (AST)

The purpose of the project is to renew the Advanced Stinger Trainer (AST). The AST is an advanced educational learning tool (high fidelity) and placed in fixed infrastructure at the Lieutenant General Best Barracks (Vredepeel, The Netherlands). The current simulator consists of a dome, projectors, hardware and software, communication network and various Stinger firing positions equipped with a stinger equivalent in look and feel to an operational stinger, multiple simulated military equipment and virtual military equipment.
