Finland – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Scientific, regulatory and technical support related to ECHA's risk management activities

In the context of the EU regulatory framework on chemicals, the Contracting authority will request scientific, technical support related to risk assessment, impact assessment/SEA and/or risk management under REACH (e.g. for restrictions, authorisations, investigation reports, support to RAC and SEAC), under the Batteries Regulation, Industrial Emissions Directive (IED), or other potential future ECHA tasks .

The services relate to methodological challenges that are encountered in the implementation of REACH and other European Union-wide regulations such as the Batteries Regulation, the RoHS Directive, the ELV Directive, and for which the Agency seeks to develop sound approaches that can serve as a template in future impact assessment work done by ECHA and its scientific committee for Socio-economic Analysis (SEAC).
