Norway – Dredging and pumping works – Improvement of the submission to Borg port - Doffin ID 2023-363350, TED ID 2023/S 193-60300 - planned change/extension of the completion deadline.

It is stated in the progress plan in the tender documentation that the contract work shall be initiated as soon as possible after 1 September 2024 and completed "at the latest 1 May 2026". Construction activity is not allowed between 1 May and 1 September due to the natural environment and outdoor activities. The progress plan is based on the assumption that the Norwegian Coastal Administration has been granted an application with the Norwegian Environment Agency to expand the site period from September-December to January-April, so that the total construction period totals 16 months. The Norwegian Environment Agency's decision has been delayed. If the Norwegian Coastal Administration does not get a licence from the Norwegian Environment Agency, the available construction period will be reduced to eight months, instead of 16 months as planned. A construction period of eight months will be too short and it will involve a significant limitation compared to the tender documentation ́s premise. If the Norwegian Coastal Administration is not granted an application for a construction period from January to April, the Norwegian Coastal Administration will therefore push the final deadline to compensate for the reduction in the available construction period. The amendment that is published as an intention notice applies to the completion date. The start-up date in the Borg port procurement will be the same as stated in the assignment description point 1.4, i.e. as soon as possible after 1 September 2024. The construction period/construction period will also be the same before and after the change, i.e. 16 months.
