The services described in the present tender are to introduce and improve gender diversity practices in companies supporting the green transformation in Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa and Mozambique. Gender Diversity Management" (GDM), understood as a structured approach towards a gender-balanced workforce supports companies in expanding their talent pool, boosting recruitment and retention, and improving employment outcomes. It is essential for establishing an inclusive work environment that ensures the long-term success of companies, especially in male-dominated sectors, and lays the foundations for more women entering and advancing their careers in these sectors. To anchor the approach in local ecosystems, close cooperation with local partners (e.g. sectoral business associations) is envisaged to develop a service package for enterprises. In addition, local expertise (e.g. local GDM consultants) to facilitate GDM measures in selected companies will be enhanced. Subsequent awareness-raising campaigns will be developed to further promote the GDM approach among the business community at national level. The tender comprises the following services: 1) The conceptual development of the GDM approach in the respective countries (assessments and country concepts) 2) The development and facilitation of workshops and trainings on Gender Diversity Management for local partners and prospective GDM consultants 3) The Implementation of the Gender Diversity Management approach in selected companies (GDM advisory service) 4) Set up and implementation of national GDM awareness campaigns 5) Monitoring & evaluation and learning of GDM approach
