As a Framework Member Listed on Lot 6 of the Health Service Executive's (HSE) Panel Agreements for Ambulance Services to Transfer Low and Medium Acuity Patients Between Healthcare Facilities you are invited to submit a response to this Supplementary Request for Tender for the provision of Ambulance Services to Transfer Low and Medium Acuity Patients Between Healthcare Facilities for the University of Limerick Hospital Group (ULHG). Framework Members attention is drawn to the specific requirements of the ULHG and a number of changes in the general requirements set out in the SRFT and the Tender Response Document. 1. ULHG is seeking the provision of different numbers of shift ambulances based on the day of the week between Monday and Friday. 2. ULHG is also seeking "On Account" / "Ad-Hoc" services to supplement the shift ambulances as necesary. 3. ULHG has also flagged the need for the provision of a Nurse to accompany patients for some specific procedures. 4. A number of additional requirements have been included under Award Criteria 3 including a. The ability to take more than one patient in an ambulance b. The requirement to confirm that ambulances have restraints that are long enough to accomodate bariatric patients in addition to have bariatric stretchers c. The requirement to confirm that the ambulances are equiped with child restraints 5. Tenderers should also note that the initial sections of the Tender Response Document have been restructured so that they more closely follow the SRFT document and clearly differentiate between requirements that must be met at Tender Submission and requirements that must be et for Tender Award.
