Menova AS intends to enter into a contract with Jensen Norge AS for the procurement of a new water extraction press for the industrial laundry ́s tunnel washer. Menova has been monitoring the market for industrial machine washing equipment for a long time and has carried out several tender processes regarding the procurement of equipment for the industrial laundry. A thorough mapping of the available suppliers and products has also been carried out. Menova is the main supplier of laundry services, uniforms, bedding, towels etc. for nursing homes and institutions in the region. The company is certified in accordance with Norske Vaskeriers Quality Inspectorate ́s industry standard for infection protection for laundries that process textiles for the health and welfare service. In order to ensure a safe and secure washing process and to ensure the continual supply of clean linen to the institutions, the technical equipment shall function optimally together. If new equipment does not work together with the existing one, stops in production may occur, which in turn can have consequences for life and health. The press is used to push water out of textiles that have undergone a washing process in the laundry ́s tunnel washer. The press is assembled in a production line with a tunnel washer of type Jensen Senking SL P 36, installed in 2002. The existing water extration press has technical issues that have made it necessary to replace it. A thorough mapping of market possibilities was carried out during preparations for a full tender process. Through this mapping, Menova found that it is only the water extration press from Jensen Norge that, in a satisfactory way, will be able to be adapted to the existing tunnel washer and which has a digital control system that with a high degree of safety will be able to interact with the existing management system. Tenderers and others who object to the signing of this contract are asked to register this objection via Mercell within 10 days from the date of this notice. Any objections are justified. If there are questions about the intention notice, they can also be asked via the communication module in Mercell. If there is no objection by the deadline, Menova will continue to work on signing the contract.
