Norway – Video-surveillance system – Intention notice - Purchase of RoomMate Randaberg municipality

Randaberg municipality shall enter into a contract for the procurement of a system for anonymised digital supervision in order to prevent and limit the consequences of unwanted events in patient rooms. The system shall consist of cameras/sensors with the accompanying software for automatic notification. The system shall be cloud based with clients on mobile devices and stationary PCs. There are high requirements for detection/notification and privacy in the system. We currently have a service and support hub with Atea As. Atea AS is therefore operating and maintaining existing digital inspections in patient rooms. The system currently used has the brand name "RoomMate". Randaberg municipality needs to procure 10- 12 new "RoomMate". The replacement to another brand scheme for digital inspection will be incompatible with the current system due to a new user interface for employees in the municipality. Training employees will result in disproportionate use of time and costs. The operation and maintenance will also be disproportionately technically difficult. The contracting authority has carried out a market survey and there are currently two dealers of "RoomMate" in Norway. Only Atea As has shown interest in delivering the product to Randaberg kommune. We intend to procure them at Atea AS and enter into a framework agreement with them. The framework agreement has a duration of two years, with an option for an extension for 1+1 year. Total worthy excl. The calculated VAT value is NOK 200,000. We currently have a service and support agreement. This means that the new RoomMate must be integrated in the Sensio Unity platform and signals shall be displayed in the Sensio Pocket.
