Full Description
Counter UAS equipment for research and protection of Commission infrastructure The application of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), commonly referred to as “drones”, is increasing rapidly used for services in agriculture, transport, survey, surveillance etc. However, there is potential for misuse of UAS: they can be used to breach privacy, for espionage by using cameras or other sensors, to hijack telecommunication signals and in combination with biological or chemicals agents, explosives or other weapons they could harm persons, disrupt services and damage infrastructure. The contracting authority will use this FWC to setup a C-UAS living lab for Critical Infrastructure stakeholders and for a better UAS protection of European Commission and European Institution buildings. This tender covers C-UAS solution services for both the Berlaymont and Charlemagne buildings in the European quarter in Brussels.
