Derry City and Strabane District Council invite suppliers to tender for a PeacePlus Our Place, Our Planet project. This tender will deliver a Children and Youth Outdoor Arts, Culture and Environment Project. This tender will be delivered district wide throughout Derry and Strabane District Council area and last for approximately 2 years. This project combines arts and environment in an outdoor setting as desired by youth in the co-design process. It will expand participants understanding and usage of shared spaces. The project will bring children and young people from diverse identities together through 2 main elements: 1. Street arts based activities (music, dance, graffiti, circus, parkour etc.) as a mechanism to having a better understanding and appreciation of community and public spaces. 2. Examination of environment through nature-based climate action and advocacy work, understanding natural land, nature and shared spaces. Integrates ‘Forest School’ practices with creativity.
