Netherlands – Legal services – Provision of legal advice and legal representation to Eurojust

This lot encompasses legal expertise in Employment and EU Civil Service Law. It primarily addresses legal matters involving Eurojust’s staff (Temporary and Contract Agents), who are governed by the Staff Regulations of Officials (SR) and Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Union (CEOS). Occasionally, it may also cover national Labour Law, in particular Dutch Labour Law, in case required for temporary workers and external contractors. In this case, the contractor may need to subcontract the services with a Dutch law firm.

This lot addresses legal matters related to EU Procurement Law (including Contract Management), Corporate Governance, Public International Law and EU Constitutional Law, ensuring compliance with relevant EU legal framework and best practices. While Eurojust's in-house legal and procurement teams manage many of these responsibilities, external legal support may be required for more complex issues.

This lot requires legal expertise in Information Technology Law, Intellectual Property Law and Data Protection. While Eurojust's in-house legal, IT and ICT security teams manage many of these responsibilities, external legal support may be required for more complex issues on Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law. In the case of Data Protection, and notwithstanding the mandate and independence of the Data Protection Office of Eurojust in accordance with the Eurojust Regulation, external legal advice and legal representation may also be required in this field.
