Ireland – Mechanical and electrical engineering services – Provision of a Support Team to assist with the Delivery of the Capital Project at the Rock of Cashel, Co. Tipperary for the Office of Public Works

The Office of Public Works (OPW) wishes to award a contract for the Provision of a Support Team to assist with the Delivery of the Capital Project at the Rock of Cashel, Co. Tipperary in the following disciplines: 1) Mechanical and Electrical Services; 2) Civil and Structural Engineering Services; and 3) Quantity Surveying Services. The Rock of Cashel, Co. Tipperary is a National Monument (No. 128) in State Care. The Vicar’s Choral is located to the South of St Patrick’s Cathedral at the Rock of Cashel. The Vicar’s Choral suffered from serious water ingress and dampness in recent years. This has caused the emergency relocation of the OPW guides to the OPW compound on site. The OPW were granted Ministerial Consent from DHLGH in January 2020 for the proposed grouting and repointing to the Vicars Choral. The OPW were also granted Ministerial Consent from DHLGH in April 2020 for the proposed re-roofing of the Vicar’s Choral. These works have not yet been carried out.
