Norway – Installation services of checking equipment – Intention notice - agreement on upgrading the management system for waste cranes

Eidsiva Bioenergi AS operates the Trehøringen Energy Central. Two waste cranes at the energy centre have been in operation since 2011. The waste cranes were delivered by Danish Crane Building A/S (DCB). The facility handles approx. 80,000 tonnes of waste annually, is continually in operation and the facility is critical for operations. The waste cranes at Trehørningen Energy Central are controlled by Siemens ET200S and have moved to spare parts. Eidsiva Bioenergi would therefore like to replace the control system. There is no need to upgrade the mechanical equipment, but control and electronics are outdated. The procurement includes replacement of the control system including replacement of PLC components, safety, frequency converters, encoders, wifi, energy chains with cables. A jumpstation including PLC software shall be installed in addition to this. The delivery includes planning, engineering design, technical calculations, equipment delivery, installation, documentation, testing, and commissioning, as well as training as needed. Eidsiva Bioenergi intends to enter into contract with DCB.
