United Kingdom – Community action programme – T24-013BUS PEACEPLUS Empowered Communities Strabane

Derry City and Strabane District Council invite suppliers to tender for a PeacePlus Empowered Communities Strabane project. The purpose of this tender is to deliver a community-based empowerment project in the Strabane DEA and immediate surrounding areas (including Lifford cross-border area). The project will require groups to collaborate, make and implement decisions, to improve their communities together. The project will follow a Co-design ethos, engaging at grassroots level and with local residents. It has been specifically designed to align with SEUPB Thriving and Peaceful Communities theme: "Invest in cross community collaboration to: Jointly identify issues and opportunities in their areas; and Develop collaborative projects to address these and bring positive change in communities." There will be a strategic connection to the Strabane Neighbourhood Renewal / Local Growth Partnership and its manager (which is a council post). The project will include a post which must be based in Strabane. Please refer to
