Norway – Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excl. glasses) – Instruments and consumables for analysing glucose close to the patient.

A regional framework agreement shall be signed for instruments for analysing glucose close to the health authorities in Helse Vest RHF. The contract will include both on-line and manual instruments, as well as a middleware system. A regional contract shall also be signed for consumables for the instruments. Option for super-user training is also wanted in the contract period. Haraldsplass Diakonale Sykehus has the opportunity to join both contracts through an option. The estimated value of the framework agreement for on-line glucose instruments will be 350 units, and there will be 600 manual glucose instruments throughout the 6 year contract period. There is great uncertainty connected to call-offs during the contract period, but for the time being some major first-time purchases will be made in each company, and that thereafter it will be purchased as needed during the rest of the agreement period. There is particularly great uncertainty around implementation and procurements for Helse Stavanger HF due to moving into nyeSUS. The estimated volume will also depend on which tenderer wins the tender competition. If a new supplier wins, there will be a need for the purchase of a larger volume of the instrument and consumables, compared with if it is equipment from the supplier that is already in use in the health authorities. The stated consumption is an estimate for information to the tenderer and is not binding for the future contract volume. It is assumed that the framework agreements shall be valid for up to a 50% increase in the estimated volume. See Annex 2 - Requirement Specifications and Annex 1 - Price Form for further details.
