Belgium – Military research and technology – Uptake of Innovation Autonomous Systems for Cross-domain Logistics: Service contracts for the provision of innovative solutions to participate in an operational experimentation with unmanned systems in the air and land domains
🇧🇪European Defence Agency·Belgium
Full Description
This lot aims to field test innovative UAS Class I MICRO and/or MINI solutions, focusing on the concept of using low-cost, attritable platforms collaboratively to support distributed logistical supply concepts for the mass delivery of small payloads (under 10 kg). The lot envisions using multiple platforms to overcome the limitations of transporting smaller payloads. Considering the need for collaborative multi-platform UAS solutions and to ensure platform redundancy and availability during field testing, the Contractor must provide at least three complete UAS systems. However, additional platforms may be offered to enhance the technical proposal. This lot is open to receiving innovative UAS solutions that meet or exceed Technological Readiness Level (TRL) 5, including prototypes and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems. The proposal may include more than one type of UAS solution.
This lot aims to field test innovative UAS Class I MINI and/or SMALL solutions, focusing on the concept of using multiple platforms capable of transporting payloads up to 50 kilograms per platform. These platforms should feature Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) capabilities, designed to support a low to medium logistical footprint. The primary objective is to maintain operational flexibility with a light and agile footprint (ie, equipment carried by dismounted soldiers or by light vehicles) while still being able to transport effective payloads. Considering the need for collaborative multi-platform UAS solutions and to ensure platform redundancy and availability during field testing, the Contractor must provide at least two complete UAS systems.
